The AAMC and the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada (AFMC) offer a Fee Assistance Program for Canadian examinees in financial need to help them prepare for and register for the MCAT® and PREview® exams. Beginning February 3, 2025, Canadian examinees who qualify during AFMC’s first application period will receive the Fee Assistance Program benefits of reduced MCAT scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellation fees, the MCAT® Official Prep Online-Only Bundle at no cost, and the AAMC will provide approved Canadian Fee Assistance Program examinees a voucher for one free PREview exam and a 50% refund ($50 value) for subsequent exams registration in 2025. The AAMC will make the MCAT® Accommodation Services Financial Benefit program application available to eligible Canadian Fee Assistance Program examinees. Beginning April 3, 2025, examinees who qualify in AFMC’s second application period will receive the same benefits.
