Mini-University Summer Camp
Registration: closed
The week-long Mini-University program at Western University introduces Indigenous youth (ages 11–17) to post-secondary living and experiences. It is administered by the Indigenous Student Center. The age groups are exposed to university-style lectures with a variety of topics and cultural teachings through creative programming, which also helps them develop an awareness of the various career options following high school.

There will be 30 spots available in both the Otter program (ages 11-13) and Crane (ages 14-17.) Each summer camp will stay overnight in residence and will have workshops spread out over the course of a week.
2025 DATES:
Otter Program: Day camp run from July 14-18thCrane Program: Overnight camp run from August 4-8th Registration will be opening Monday, March 17th and will close the first week of May.

Indigenous Academic Tutor and Mentorship program
Starting September 2025, a team of 5 Indigenous Western students and Western's Community Enhancement Coordinator will be visiting various high schools in London, ON and be available for academic support to students in grade 9-12. During this time, tutors will inspire and motivate students to complete assignments, enhance their understanding of course content, and develop organizational and problem-solving skills. The program aims to help Indigenous high school students improve their academic skills and build confidence in a safe and culturally respectful environment preparing them for post-secondary opportunities.
